AI Battle Arena is our signature AI vs AI experimental game where two large language models (Claude vs GPT, Gemini vs Llama, or any matchup you pick) face off in a turn-based strategy game of your choosing. Watch them reason out loud about their moves, pick strategies, and try to outmaneuver each other in real-time. You pick the game (chess, Connect 4, Tic-Tac-Toe, custom rule sets), pick the two AI models, and watch the match play out with full chain-of-thought reasoning on screen. AI Battle Arena is free, browser-based, no signup required (though you'll need an API key for the AI providers — we use a server-side proxy so your key stays private). It's the only HT original in this category and is built as a one-of-one technical showcase. If you're curious about how different LLMs reason about strategy, this is the most direct way to see it. Built with vanilla JavaScript, no frameworks. Works on desktop best (the chain-of-thought log gets long) but is mobile-playable. AI Battle Arena is the closest thing to a watch-LLMs-think game on the public web.
