About Connect 4
Connect 4 is the strategic vertical four-in-a-row game — drop colored discs into a 7-column, 6-row grid where they fall to the lowest empty slot in their column, and try to line up four of your color horizontally, vertically, or diagonally before your AI opponent does. Unlike Tic-Tac-Toe, Connect 4 IS solvable — the first player can force a win with perfect play — but the search tree is deep enough that intermediate-skill humans can have genuinely competitive games. HT Hub's Connect 4 features an AI opponent with multiple difficulty settings (Easy: random+heuristic; Medium: 3-ply minimax; Hard: 6-ply minimax with iterative deepening).
