How do I sign in to HT Hub?

Click Sign in at the top of HT Hub. You can use Google or email + password through Firebase Authentication. You only need an account if you want to appear on the public leaderboard or save scores to the cloud — every game is fully playable signed out.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the sign-in screen, click "Forgot password?" and follow the link Firebase emails you. If the email never arrives, check spam first, then email support@hardiktrehan.com from the address tied to your account and we will reset it manually.

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Email support@hardiktrehan.com from the email tied to your account asking us to delete it. We will remove your Firestore record, every leaderboard score with your user ID, and your Firebase Authentication entry. You will get a confirmation when it is done.

Why am I not on the leaderboard?

Two reasons. First, the 'Visible on the public leaderboard' switch on the HT Hub page is off by default — turn it on and your next finished game will publish. Second, you have to be signed in; scores only sync to the cloud when an account is attached.

How do I delete my scores?

Accepted Answer

Open the HT Hub page and click 'Delete my scores'. That wipes every leaderboard entry tied to your user ID. Local browser scores (the ones you see in single-player game histories) stay on your device until you clear browser storage.

A game looks broken or my score is wrong. What now?

Email support@hardiktrehan.com with the game name, what you saw, what you expected, the browser + OS you were on, and a screenshot if you have one. The more context, the faster we can reproduce and fix.

Does HT Hub chess work on mobile?

Yes. The chess UI uses react-chessboard which is fully touch-responsive. For an offline-capable, native experience, the Chess.com-style mobile build is being developed in a separate iOS/Android app — currently in internal testing on Android.

How do I change AI difficulty?

Open the chess page and use the difficulty selector before starting a game. Levels range from beginner (random-ish play) to strong (deep search). Changing difficulty mid-game isn't supported; finish the current game or resign first.

What is AI Battle Arena?

It is a free tool that runs a moderated debate between two large language models on a topic you choose. Models come from OpenAI, Google, Meta, Mistral, and DeepSeek via OpenRouter. It's for education and entertainment — don't enter private information in topics.

Why did my battle stop mid-way?

Usually a transient OpenRouter / upstream model error, or the topic tripped a provider safety filter. Try a fresh topic phrased neutrally. If the same topic keeps failing, email support@hardiktrehan.com with the exact wording.
