Acceptable Use Policy

Contents
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) applies to all users of hardiktrehan.com, HT Hub, the AI Battle Arena, the 17 AI tools (astrology suite, Prompt Lab, Code Duel, Roast Battle, Model Showdown, and others), the public profiles and leaderboards, the contact form, the blog comments (if enabled), and any other surface we provide. It is part of our Terms of Service and your use of any of those services constitutes acceptance.
We curate this list around real risks we’ve seen on consumer AI platforms in 2025-26. The list is not exhaustive; the spirit is “don’t do harmful or illegal stuff, and don’t break our systems.”
2. Generally prohibited conduct
You agree not to use the Site to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Infringe any copyright, trademark, trade-secret, publicity, privacy, or other right.
- Harass, threaten, defame, stalk, or intimidate another person.
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, chain letters, or pyramid schemes.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
- Collect personal information about other users without their consent.
- Use the Site to facilitate or promote illegal goods or services (drugs, weapons, etc.).
- Engage in behavior that we, in our reasonable discretion, consider abusive or harmful to the community or to us.
3. Prohibited content categories
You may not upload, post, generate via AI tools, transmit, store, or link to content that:
- Sexually exploits or endangers minors (CSAM). We report such content to NCMEC and law enforcement without exception.
- Promotes or glorifies violence, self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
- Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or organized hate against protected groups.
- Contains non-consensual intimate imagery, deepfakes of real people without their consent, or revenge porn.
- Discloses another person’s private information without consent (doxxing).
- Encourages discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or veteran status.
- Provides operational instructions for weapons capable of mass casualties (CBRN), malware, exploits, or critical-infrastructure attacks.
- Contains malicious code, viruses, or anything designed to harm computer systems.
- Violates the underlying AI providers’ usage policies (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Meta, Mistral, DeepSeek, xAI, Moonshot, Qwen — see section 8).
4. AI tool misuse
The AI tools on the Site (astrology suite, Prompt Lab, Code Duel, Roast Battle, Model Showdown, AI Battle Arena, etc.) route inputs through third-party AI models via OpenRouter, ElevenLabs, and Perplexity. You agree not to:
- Use AI outputs as professional, legal, medical, psychological, or financial advice — see the AI Disclaimer.
- Generate content that targets, harasses, defames, or sexually depicts a real, identifiable person without consent.
- Use Roast Battle, Model Showdown, or any tool to generate targeted harassment of a real individual.
- Attempt to extract model weights, system prompts, or proprietary information through prompt injection.
- Use the AI tools to create disinformation, election-related fakes, or impersonations of public figures presented as real.
- Generate content for fully-automated decisions affecting other people’s legal rights, employment, credit, housing, healthcare, or insurance.
- Resell raw model output as a competing AI service.
- Submit personal, sensitive, regulated, or confidential data as AI input. Treat all AI inputs as public.
5. Leaderboard and competitive integrity
The HT Hub leaderboard is meant to be fun and honest. Do not:
- Submit fake or manipulated scores.
- Use bots, scripts, macros, automation, or memory editors to gain an advantage in any game.
- Reverse-engineer the game client or its API.
- Create multiple accounts to game leaderboards, tournaments, or daily-rate-limit windows.
- Use an offensive, harassing, impersonating, or pornographic display name or avatar.
We reserve the right to remove suspicious scores, reset leaderboards, ban accounts, and (in serious cases) forfeit any unused paid credits associated with the account.
6. Security & technical abuse
- Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site, its APIs, Firebase backend, or any of our subprocessors’ systems without our prior written consent.
- Do not breach or attempt to breach any security or authentication measure.
- Do not access, tamper with, or use non-public areas, accounts, or data.
- Do not interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue load on the Site (DDoS, traffic spikes, resource-exhaustion).
- Do not crawl or scrape the Site in a manner that violates
robots.txtor our rate limits. - Do not introduce malware, viruses, ransomware, or other malicious code.
- Do not frame, mirror, or rehost the Site without permission.
Good-faith security research is welcome — email security@hardiktrehan.com before testing and we’ll work with you. We will not pursue legal action against researchers who follow a responsible-disclosure process and stay within reasonable bounds.
7. Billing and credit abuse
- Do not use stolen, fraudulent, or unauthorized payment methods.
- Do not initiate chargebacks for completed, used subscriptions or credit packs. Contact support@hardiktrehan.com first — almost everything can be resolved without a chargeback.
- Do not resell, transfer, or share credits or subscriptions across accounts.
- Do not exploit pricing bugs, race conditions, or coupon misuse to obtain credits you did not pay for.
- Do not abuse free-tier rate limits with multiple accounts, VPN-hopping, or scripted requests.
8. Third-party policies you also agree to
When you use the AI tools, you also agree to the usage policies of the underlying providers. The Site’s tools currently route through OpenRouter to models from Google (Gemini), OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Mistral, DeepSeek, xAI, Moonshot, and Qwen. For TTS we use ElevenLabs; for web research, Perplexity. Their policies may prohibit conduct not specifically listed here — when in doubt, assume their policies apply.
9. Enforcement & consequences
We may take any of the following actions, with or without notice, for any violation of this AUP or our Terms of Service:
- Remove offending content.
- Reset leaderboard scores or strip achievements.
- Suspend or terminate your account permanently.
- Forfeit any unused credits associated with the account (only for willful or repeated violations).
- Cancel active subscriptions without pro-rated refund.
- Pursue civil remedies and refer matters to law enforcement where the violation is criminal.
We try to act proportionally — a first-time minor leaderboard violation gets a warning; a CSAM upload gets an immediate ban and a NCMEC report.
10. Reporting abuse
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this AUP, email abuse@hardiktrehan.com with a description, the URL or username, and any screenshots you can share. For copyright complaints, use the DMCA Policy. For child-safety emergencies, contact local law enforcement first; we will work with them and NCMEC.
