1. Where these guidelines apply

These Community Guidelines govern every shared, live space on hardiktrehan.com — above all HT Island, the true-3D multiplayer world, where you appear as a customizable avatar and can talk to other real visitors through world chat, direct messages and proximity voice. They also cover any other place where you interact with other people on the Site: public profiles, display names, leaderboards and the AI Pavilion.

They are the social, plain-language companion to our Acceptable Use Policy (the full “what’s prohibited” list) and form part of the Terms of Service. By entering a live space you agree to follow them. Where they overlap with the AUP, the stricter rule applies.

2. The spirit — be a good guest

HT Island is meant to feel calm, friendly and welcoming — a place people from around the world drop into together. The one rule behind all the others: treat other visitors the way you’d want to be treated. Almost every avatar you meet is a real person, often a stranger, sometimes young. Assume good faith, keep it light, and don’t make the space worse for the people around you.

3. Text chat (world & direct messages)

In world chat and direct messages, do not:

  • Harass, threaten, demean, stalk or pile on another visitor.
  • Use slurs or hateful language, or attack people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, age, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity.
  • Post sexual, graphic, shocking or otherwise NSFW messages — this is a general-audience space.
  • Spam, flood, or repeatedly send the same message; advertise, solicit, or post referral/scam links.
  • Share anyone’s private information (yours or others’) — full names, addresses, phone numbers, school or workplace (doxxing).
  • Impersonate Hardik, staff, a moderator, or another visitor.

Direct messages are private between two visitors, but the same standards apply — “it was a DM” is not a defense to harassment.

4. Voice chat

Proximity voice in HT Island is opt-in: it only turns on after you grant microphone permission, and you can mute yourself or leave voice at any time. When you use it:

  • Speak to others as you would in text — no harassment, slurs, threats, sexual content or hate.
  • Don’t blast music, noise, soundboards or “ear-rape” audio at other people.
  • Don’t record, stream or share another person’s voice without their consent.
  • Assume anyone nearby can hear you — including minors. Keep it general-audience.

How voice audio is handled technically (it is peer-to-peer and not stored by us) is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Avatars, flags & display names

Your avatar, the country flag on your tee, and your display name are visible to everyone. Do not choose an avatar, name or gear that is:

  • Sexual, graphic, or otherwise inappropriate for a general audience.
  • Hateful, harassing, or built around a slur or extremist symbol.
  • Impersonating Hardik, staff, a brand, or another real person.
  • Designed to deceive, scam, or advertise.

We may reset a name or avatar that breaks these rules, the same way the AUP handles offensive leaderboard names.

6. Younger visitors & personal safety

The Site is not directed at children under 13 (see our Children’s Safety policy), but HT Island is public and you will meet visitors of many ages. To keep everyone safe:

  • Never ask another visitor — especially anyone who seems young — for personal information, photos, contact details, or to move the conversation to another platform.
  • Never send sexual content to anyone, and never to a minor under any circumstances.
  • Don’t share your own personal details (real name, address, school, phone) with strangers in chat or voice.
  • Any sexualization of a minor results in an immediate, permanent ban and a report to NCMEC and law enforcement, without exception.

7. Fair play in shared spaces

  • Don’t deliberately block doorways, paths, stages or seats to grief other visitors.
  • Don’t exploit bugs to teleport into, trap others in, or break shared areas — report bugs instead.
  • Don’t use bots, scripts, automation or multiple accounts to flood the world, fake a crowd, or game leaderboards (see the AUP).
  • Don’t disrupt the synced stage, live theatre, or AI Pavilion for everyone else.

8. Moderation & enforcement

You always control your own experience first: you can mute a screen, mute or leave voice, and ignore direct messages. On top of that, we may — with or without notice, and in proportion to the behavior —

  • Reset an offending display name or avatar.
  • Mute, hide, disconnect, or temporarily remove a visitor from a live space.
  • Suspend or permanently ban an account or device from the multiplayer world.
  • Remove leaderboard scores or achievements tied to abuse.
  • Refer serious or criminal conduct to law enforcement.

A first minor slip usually gets a warning; harassment, hate, or anything involving a child is acted on immediately.

9. Reporting a player

If someone is breaking these guidelines, email abuse@hardiktrehan.com with the player’s display name, roughly when and where it happened (e.g. “HT Island world chat, ~3pm PT”), and a screenshot if you have one. For child-safety emergencies, contact local law enforcement first — we will cooperate with them and NCMEC. For copyright issues, use the DMCA Policy.

10. Contact

These guidelines are operated by Nyza Creations LLC and governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, consistent with our Terms of Service. Questions about conduct or moderation: support@hardiktrehan.com. Reports of abuse: abuse@hardiktrehan.com.
