Children & COPPA Policy

1. Summary

The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are under 13, please do not create an account, submit scores to the public leaderboard, use any AI tool, or send us personal information. The 30+ free HTML5 games can be played without an account, but the leaderboard, AI tools, and paid plans are restricted.

2. COPPA stance (United States)

Under the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the FTC’s 16 C.F.R. Part 312 Rule, online services directed at children under 13 — and general-audience services with actual knowledge that a user is under 13 — must obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from the child.

We do not direct the Site to children under 13. The Site does not contain content, design, branding, or animated characters that would suggest a children’s audience. If we learn that a person under 13 has created an account or that we have otherwise collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information promptly and disable the associated account.

3. Users aged 13-17

Users aged 13 to 17 may use the free portions of the Site (browse, play free games, sign in to save scores) provided that:

• A parent or legal guardian has reviewed our Terms and Privacy Policy and consents to their use.
• They do not enter sensitive personal information into AI tools.
• They do not purchase paid subscriptions or credit packs (see section 4).

Parents/guardians are responsible for the online activity of minors in their care, including any consequences of AI output the minor may encounter. See sections 5 and 7 below.

4. Paid plans require 18+

Purchasing a Starter ($4.99/mo) or Pro ($14.99/mo) subscription or a credit pack ($1.99 / $7.99 / $24.99) requires you to be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater). Stripe checkout requires a valid payment method, which is itself age-gated by card issuers in most jurisdictions. If we discover a minor has purchased through a parent’s payment method without authorization, contact support@hardiktrehan.com and we will refund unused credits.

5. Why AI tools aren’t for kids

The AI tools on this Site route inputs through third-party large language models (Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Mistral, DeepSeek, xAI, Moonshot, Qwen via OpenRouter). These models:

• Can produce content unsuitable for minors — violence, adult themes, profanity, hallucinated facts.
• Have safety guardrails but are not foolproof, especially with adversarial prompts.
• Do not verify age and treat every user as an adult.
• May produce frightening or destabilizing astrology, tarot, dream, or past-life narratives.

The AI tools are appropriate for adults treating them as entertainment (see the AI Disclaimer). They are not designed for children, and we do not represent them as kid-safe.

6. Parents — how to report a minor account

If you believe a child under 13 has created an account on the Site or that we have personal information about a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, please email legal@hardiktrehan.com with:

• The display name or email of the account in question.
• Your relationship to the child (parent, legal guardian, school official).
• A description of what you would like us to do (delete the account, export and then delete data, etc.).

We will delete the account and associated personal information within 30 days of verifying the request, and confirm completion by reply email. There is no fee for this.

7. Parental controls we recommend

We are not a substitute for parental supervision. If your child uses the internet, we recommend:

• Apple Screen Time, Google Family Link, or Microsoft Family Safety to set device-level limits and age filters.
• Network-level filtering (e.g. OpenDNS Family Shield, NextDNS, Pi-hole) to block adult and gambling sites.
• Reviewing the apps and websites your child uses, and the AI tools they have access to.
• Having age-appropriate conversations about AI — what it is, what it can and cannot do, why it sometimes lies.

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission has a parents’ resource at consumer.ftc.gov/articles/protecting-your-childs-privacy-online. Common Sense Media (commonsensemedia.org) maintains age-appropriate reviews of apps, games, and websites.

8. Other jurisdictions

Different jurisdictions set different ages for digital consent. The GDPR sets a baseline of 16 in the EEA (lowered to 13-16 by each Member State). The UK Age Appropriate Design Code (AADC, a.k.a. the Children’s Code) applies to information-society services likely to be accessed by users under 18 in the UK. The California Age-Appropriate Design Code Act (AB 2273) imposes additional duties for under-18 users in California. Where these apply to our Site, we honor the stricter standard: we do not knowingly process personal data of users under the applicable digital-consent age without parental consent.

9. Mobile apps

Stage Rush and other Nyza Creations mobile games on Google Play carry an age-appropriate ESRB / Google Play rating and use the Google Play Families framework where applicable. AdMob ads in those apps are configured for general audiences and exclude interest-based personalization for users Google identifies as under 13. See section 1h of the Privacy Policy.
