Kehnde Ne Naina is Hardik Trehan's Punjabi cover of a song originally sung by the legendary Noor Jehan and later by Harbhajan Shera. The full music video released on 24 November 2016 under the Nyza Studios banner.
Hardik has said he was sure since childhood that he would sing this song one day — it was an all-time favourite from his school days. He first heard it in the Harbhajan Shera version his father, Gaurav Trehan, had released, and only later came to know the Noor Jehan original, which became his most-loved version. He approaches the cover as his own attempt, with no claim to outdo either.
Hardik also directed the video, under the Team HTrehan banner, and wrote the additional lyrics performed by the female vocal — new verses written specifically for this rendition. Cinematography is by Jeremiah Roberts, with Sam Singla on edit. Anastazia Nichole appears as the female lead and Minaxi delivers the female vocals.
